Dr Colin C. K. Chan specialises in refractive, cataract and corneal surgery. He is an expert in laser eye surgery and new treatments for keratoconus including corneal collagen cross linking with riboflavin, Intacs and Kerarings. He helped pioneer these new treatments with Dr. Boxer Wachler in the United States and has lectured widely on keratoconus. He also has a special interest in treatment of dry eyes.

Dr Simon Chen is an expert in conditions affecting the macula and retina. He is at the forefront of leading edge retinal treatments, offering the latest international advances. His experience and international training positions him as one of a small number of Australian eye surgeons trained to deal with the full range of routine and complex retinal problems.

Dr Friedrich's sub-specialty interests at Vision Eye Institute include age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma. Since 2006 he has attended landmark international retinal meetings, and he has recently returned from a mini-fellowship in medical retina at the Jules Stein Eye Institute at the UCLA Medical Centre in California.

Dr James Genge specialises in laser eye surgery, corneal transplants, and modern cataract and refractive intraocular lens surgery. He is one of the leaders in advanced corneal surgery techniques such as Intacs/Kerarings, collagen cross linking and corneal transplantation.

Dr Higgins area of clinical expertise is general ophthalmology with a special interest in glaucoma and cataract surgery. Dr Higgins has been involved in the progressive advances with cataract surgery and was one of the early phacoemusification surgeons, having commenced phaco surgery in 1987 at Sydney Eye Hospital when only a handful in Australia were using this technique.

Dr Hughes is an internationally trained microsurgeon who has specialised in cataract and refractive surgery for the past 20 years. He has successfully performed well over 10,000 Lasik procedures.
Dr Hughes love for refractive surgery began in the early 80's when he travelled overseas to learn the Russian technique of Radial Keratotomy (RK). However, with the development of the Excimer Laser, Dr Hughes had no doubt that this was the way of the future and his was one of the first clinics in Australia to begin performing the procedure.

After qualifying as an ophthalmic surgeon at Sydney Eye Hospital in 1989, Dr Jacobs worked in London where he was a fellow at the Hospital for Sick Children and Moorfields Eye Hospital. At present he is a conjoint senior lecturer at the University of New South Wales and a staff specialist at Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick and specialises in cataract surgery.

Dr Michael Lawless specialises in vision correction with laser and lens refractive surgery, cataract and corneal transplants. Dr Lawless graduated in Medicine from the University of Sydney in 1980. He trained in Sydney and then undertook a Corneal and External Diseases Fellowship with Professor Doug Coster in Adelaide, and a second Fellowship in Corneal and Refractive Surgery at the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital in New York.

Dr Martin was head of the Department of Ophthalmology at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead for 22 years and is currently a Visiting Medical Officer in Ophthalmology. He is also Visiting Medical Officer to the Sydney Eye, Sydney Children’s, and Mater Misericordiae Hospitals.

Dr David Ng is a specialist cataract surgeon. He is a general ophthalmologist with a special interest in diabetic eye disease and small incision cataract surgery.
Dr Ng studied medicine at Sydney University. He completed a Master of Public Health and gained a wide breadth of clinical expertise in neurosurgery and plastic surgery prior to commencing his ophthalmology training at the renowned Sydney Eye Hospital.

Dr Roberts is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at Royal North Shore Hospital, where he heads the Glaucoma Unit and is the Director of Training. He is a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney, has published many scientific papers and an academic thesis, and reviews scientific articles for numerous international peer reviewed medical journals.

Dr Christopher Rogers is a corneal specialist. He has a special interest in laser refractive surgery and brought the first excimer laser used for refractive surgery into Australia in 1991.

Dr Gary Schiller specialises in the areas of cataract, glaucoma, diabetes, oculoplastics and medical retina.
Dr Schiller completed his Ophthalmology training at Sydney Eye Hospital before undertaking further subspecialty glaucoma studies in London. On returning to Australia in 1989 he completed a Fellowship in oculoplastics at Sydney Eye Hospital.

Dr Gerard Sutton specialises in laser vision correction, modern cataract surgery, corneal transplantation and keratoconus surgery. His areas of expertise include Intacs and corneal cross-linking with riboflavin treatment.

Dr Patrick Versace dedicates his Bondi Junction practice to refractive surgery. He has performed many thousands of refractive surgical procedures both laser and intraocular and continues to be a leader in the field.

Dr Devinder Chauhan studied medicine at Guy’s Hospital Medical School in London and has been an ophthalmologist since 1991, training at the most highly regarded centres the UK and Australia. He worked as a locum consultant vitreoretinal surgeon in the Birmingham and Midland Eye Centre, the second largest eye hospital in the United Kingdom.

Dr Nandor Jaross specialises in medical retina. He has special interest in management of diabetic retinopathy as well as many other retinal conditions.
Dr Nandor Jaross studied ophthalmology and later practiced at the University Department of Ophthalmology in Debrecen, Hungary from 1983-88. Immigrating to Australia in 1988, Nandor worked as a specialist ophthalmologist at the Royal Darwin Hospital and was Head of the Mobile Eye unit.

Dr Giles is an oculoplastic and cataract specialist with an interest in medical retina. Dr Giles gained his medical degree from the University of Sheffield, UK and continued to work there to gain his ophthalmology training until he became a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (UK).

Dr Lewis Levitz specialises in oculoplastic, cataract surgery and general ophthalmology.
Dr Levitz has a special interest in eyelid surgery. He enjoys correcting eyelid malpossitions due to ectropions and ectropions and repairs or reconstructs lids following eyelid tumour removal.

Dr Mayer is a retinal and macular diseases specialist. He offers advanced diagnosis and treatment options and has considerable experience in routine and complex ophthalmic surgery and sub-specialises in the medical and surgical treatment of retinal disorders.
He graduated from the University of Oxford Medical School with a research degree in neural transplantation from the University of Cambridge.

Dr Guy Olorenshaw is a specialist refractive surgeon who has been performing refractive surgery in Melbourne since 1996 and LASIK since 1998.

Dr Raj Pathmaraj specialises in general ophthalmology, glaucoma and cataract surgery. He has been working as an associate doctor with Vision Group since its inception and has been a partner for the past 2 years.

Dr Paul Rosen is a cataract and refractive surgeon specialist and graduated from the University of Melbourne.
