Our services

We have a very strong team of respected doctors, including (in alphabetical order) Dr Nandor Jaross, Dr Lewis Levitz, Dr Pradeep Madhok, Dr Eric Mayer, Dr Joseph Reich, Dr Hakki Semirli and Dr Abi Tenen.

Vision Eye Institute Coburg is a general ophthalmic clinic, with cataract, diabetic, retinal and oculoplastic specialists.

Our location

Fortunately, our clinic is easy to find and equally easy to reach. We are located on the corner of Bell and Waterfield Streets in Coburg, just a block down from the busy Sydney Road shopping district.

Coburg train station is just a few minutes walk away, with tram and bus stops close by. There are also a number of free car parks available, should you be arriving by car.

Your clinic experience

You can always expect a friendly greeting from our experienced staff working on the front desk. Led by team leader Amy Wilson (who is taking over from Sally Collins, who is on maternity leave) , everyone will take good care of you (however busy they are). As you will discover, all our orthoptists and doctors are gentle, caring people who have your best interests at heart at all times.

The clinic itself also has a bright, happy atmosphere and has benefited form a recent refurbishment, adding to the cheery, modern environment.

Overall, waiting times are always kept to a minimum, although the occasional emergency can cause some delays, of course.

Patients also seem to appreciate the fact that we bulk bill consultations – only new patients with no concession are expected to pay a one-off consultation fee for the first visit.
