Cataract surgery

Cataract surgery is probably the most well known procedure of all and is, in fact, the most common surgery in the developed world.

As part of the ageing process, it’s probably not surprising that as the population lives longer, there are more cataracts that need attention.

Fortunately, advances in technology and modern expertise ensures that this is also a straight-forward operation, and 99% of patients can enjoy excellent vision again.

It’s very satisfying to see people discover that instead of cloudy, dull vision, they can see brighter colours, drive safely at night without glare and, usually, read the paper without wearing glasses.
