Professor Sutton is an ophthalmic surgeon, who is passionate about his work and dedicated to improving his patients’ vision.
Professor Sutton concentrates his time and energy on laser vision correction, modern cataract and corneal surgery and has successfully performed over 20,000 surgical procedures in the following areas:
Education and Training
In 1993, Doctor Sutton completed his ophthalmic training at the Sydney Eye Hospital, where he is now the Sydney Medical School Foundation Professor of Corneal and Refractive Surgery. In 1996, he completed advanced surgical training at St Thomas’ and Moorefields Eye Hospital in London and the Friedrich Alexander University in Erlangen, Germany, becoming the first Australian to complete overseas fellowship training in laser vision correction surgery.
