I consider myself a general ophthalmologist, however there are several areas that I concentrate on. I’m fortunate to work with a very talented and experienced team of sub-specialists, so if a patient needs more specialist treatment, I will refer them onto one of my colleagues.

Cataract surgery/laser cataract surgery

Diabetics need to be aware that they may be at risk of developing diabetic retinopathy. Without vigilance and ongoing treatment, this can affect the sight of the sufferer. Read more.
