Clinical indicators are measures of the process, structure and/or outcomes of patient care. They are used by Vision Eye Institute to identify areas of concern which might require further review or development. Clinical indicators identify rates of occurrences which are either under or over expected levels. They may also allow clinical care to be followed over a period of time, or to be benchmarked against other health care organisation. Vision Eye Institute actively monitors key performance indicators to measure performance and outcomes. Data is collected, analysed and reported on.
Clinical indicator data below relates to admissions at Vision Day Surgeries (combined) July 2014 – December 2014
