Unquestionably, we have some of the most experienced laser eye surgery, refractive, retinal and cataract surgeons in the world. We are fortunate to have many exceptional doctors who have pioneered many of the technical advances that have occurred over the last 20 years.

In fact, amongst the most significant advances have been Australia’s first laser eye surgery in 1991, many firsts in the field of cataracts, the first to use phacoemulsification during cataract surgery, the first to perform CMICS ‘coaxial’ micro-incision cataract surgery and, more recently, the first to perform laser cataract surgery.
